Får ikke lønn av litauisk arbeidsgiver

Publisert: 11.03.2024

Me and my colleague are from Latvia. We got a job in Norway, for a Lithuanian employer. He told us that everything would be officially without black income. We worked for him for 2 and a half months, for which we received pennies. Every day he told new true stories that the client was still on a business trip or had not yet received his salary. Afterwards we warned him in writing so that he would pay our money. To which he simply ignored us, so we would like to turn to you or someone.

Svar:

In addition to raise the claim in Lithuania against your employer, you may claim both the employer and the client directly here in Norway. But there are limitations. If you raise the claim towards the contractual partners "above" your employer, regarding the work, it must be raised within 3 months. I.e. salary older than 3 months is to old. The amount you may claim has also a limit. The consequences of raising a claim against your employer is dependent on your employers representation here in NORWAY. You should contact a lawyer to have your case reviewed and considered.
